A single father in Thailand recently melted the hearts of netizens after his viral TikTok video when he came to his daughter’s school. She appeared dressed as a woman during a Mother’s Day event at her daughter’s school.
The father, named Pratchaya ‘Joe’Tadeebu, can be seen sitting in front of his daughter, Nattawadee ‘Cream’ Kornjan. Cream honored her by presenting flowers at a Mother’s Day event at her school.
The 48-year-old man wore a black and white polka dot dress, complete with a long black wig. His 15-year-old daughter gave a hug to her father who was ready to appear like a woman.
“Mom must be present on Mother’s Day. I can also be a mother for you,” Joe wrote in his upload.
Speaking to Thai media outlet Thairath, Joe shared that he was actually a teacher at his daughter’s school. His own daughter is an adopted child.
“We talked to each other about what we should do on this Mother’s Day. I don’t want Cream to feel neglected, I want her to be happy,” said Joe.
“The idea of dressing as a woman came up and I wasn’t embarrassed at all. We always found ways to have fun together,” she added.
Even though he raised Cream himself and not his biological child, Joe considers his daughter as his flesh and blood.
“I love her like my own child. I will do my best as a father and mother to look after my daughter,” said the man who does not have a wife.
The viral video uploaded last Friday (11 August) has received more than 33 thousand likes and been watched 360 thousand times. Many positive comments on the upload.
“Your daughter must love you very much,” commented netizens.
“You don’t need to have everything. Just being happy with everything you have is enough,” added another comment.
