The United States does not seek war with Russia and does not have military capabilities in the Black Sea. This was stated at a briefing by Deputy Pentagon Press Secretary Sabrina Singh.
So Singh answered the question about the possibility of military solutions for the export of Ukrainian grain.
“We don’t have any facilities in the Black Sea… I don’t have any announcements or decisions to report right now. This is something we continue to track. We have made it clear that we do not seek war with Russia. There are hostilities in which we support Ukraine. But at the moment, I have nothing to announce regarding the Black Sea or any kind of traffic security,” Singh said.
The United States is exploring options to ensure the export of agricultural products from Ukraine through the Danube ports in the amount of about 4 million tons per month and does not rule out military solutions to protect ships carrying out transportation, The Wall Street Journal reported earlier, citing sources in the White House.
