PDIP Central Java held a meeting of regional heads at the Padma Hotel, Semarang. Mayor of Solo, Gibran Rakabuming Rama, admitted that he was not invited and admitted that he was a “small child”.
“I don’t even know. It’s okay, maybe those who were invited were seniors, the inexperienced ones weren’t invited,” Gibran said when met by reporters on the sidelines of attending the Solo male and female election event in Lokananta, Solo, reported detikJatengTuesday (15/8/2023) evening.
Gibran also admitted that it didn’t matter if he wasn’t invited. However, if invited he said he would definitely come.
“Yes, maybe the seniors who were invited, it’s okay (yes),” he said.
“If invited definitely come,” he added.
Gibran then even asked which figures were present when asked about communications with Central Java PDIP chairman Bambang Wuryanto or Bambang Pacul. Then he admitted he was still ‘little’.
“I don’t know, everyone was invited, the most senior ones. Who attended? That’s a senior, I’m a child,” said Gibran.
