While many companies are looking further to explore and integrate artificial intelligence, Microsoft seems to be heading in the other direction, or at least when it looks at how it can bring Cortana to Windows users.
according to a newsupportPages posts, already revealed that Cortana, an AI named after the AI in Halo, is losing its dedicated app on Windows 11, and later this year, sometime in the fall, Cortana will be pulled from Teams and Teams Mobile. AI will still continue to function in Outlook Microsoft.
While there’s no direct word that Microsoft is looking to move away from Cortana AI, it does seem to indicate that it’s preparing to distance itself from the technology.
