Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Social Solidarity will start disbursing cash assistance within the “Solidarity and Dignity” program for the beneficiary families for the month of August, for the most vulnerable families, the elderly and people with special needs. Committees will also be formed to follow up the disbursement and facilitate all procedures.
The Ministry of Social Solidarity, led by Dr. Nevin Al-Qabbaj, Minister of Solidarity, is implementing a Takaful and Karama program with the aim of providing cash assistance to the poor and most needy families, by objectively targeting families that have low economic and social indicators that prevent them from satisfying their basic needs and ensuring the health and educational rights of their children, in addition to extending a network Protection to include groups that do not have the ability to work and produce, such as the elderly 65 years and over, or those who have a total disability or disability.
Dr. Nevin Al-Kabbaj, Minister of Social Solidarity, thanked President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, for his decision to increase the amount of cash support “Takaful and Karama” by 25%, as of last April.
