ABU DHABI, 14th August, 2020 (WAM) — Dr. Anwar bin Muhammad Gargash, Diplomatic Advisor to His Highness the President of the State, met today with Timothy Lenderking, the US Special Envoy to Yemen, and discussed with him the latest developments and international efforts to resolve the crisis in Yemen.
During the meeting, His Excellency stressed the importance of the efforts led by the brotherly Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in order to find a peaceful settlement that ends the Yemeni crisis and its humanitarian repercussions. His Excellency also stressed the importance of intensifying international efforts in this direction, noting the important role played by the United States of America in this context.
His Excellency Dr. Anwar Gargash reviewed the historical commitment of the United Arab Emirates to the stability and prosperity of Yemen and its support for all efforts aimed at finding a solution to the Yemeni crisis in a way that achieves the interests of the Yemeni people and guarantees the stability of Yemen.
