Roy Keane Criticizes Mohamed Salah’s Anger During Chelsea Match

Former Manchester United captain, Roy Keane, criticized Liverpool star, Egyptian international Mohamed Salah, because of his anger during his change in his team’s match against Chelsea, in the English Premier League.

Kane said, during an analysis of the match, on Sunday evening, on the British “Sky News” network, attacking Salah: “Just sit and shut up,” after the match that ended in a positive draw, in which the “Egyptian king” was replaced in the 77th minute of the match.

And the Manchester United star said: “I think it is acceptable for a player to do that when he leaves, but do not continue to do so on the bench,” referring to Salah raising his arms and expressing anger during and after leaving the field.

Kane added, directing his speech to Salah: “You have to accept that… I saw many players better than Salah who were substituted, and their reaction was good.”

As for Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, he was more calm regarding dealing with Salah’s anger, and said in statements after the match that he “understands that” because Salah would have scored a record for the number of goals scored in the opening matches in the English Premier League if he had scored during the match.

He explained that as a coach, he “did not think about it,” adding: “His reaction was normal. When I change a player and the result is a goal-to-goal tie, and he is a striker and he thinks he will score, then he embraces me as he goes out, then I will be surprised.”

Salah made his team’s goal for his colleague Luis Diaz, before Chelsea could adjust the score through his defender Axel Desasi.

The Egyptian player was hoping to achieve a record by scoring and reaching 9 goals in the opening matches, as he shares the current record with Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Frank Lampard with 8 goals.
