Around 2,000 signatures were collected by a group of theater artists in 2020 to honor the memory of Hebert Axel who actively participated in theater and House of Culture.
The director of the Municipal Institute of Art and CultureJesús Emmanuel Villalba León pointed out that in support of the councilors the petition was raised for what will be presented at the next session of the Cabildo.

The new name if this proposal is approved would be “Teatro Hebert Axel“, they estimate this authorization could occur in a period of 2 to 3 weeks.
