Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Over the years, the Al-Hashr Mountains located in the Jizan region of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have attracted people’s attention via the Internet, especially with the circulation of many videos and photos that highlight their breathtaking nature, which fascinates visitors.
According to the official website of the Saudi Press Agency, “SPA”, these mountains are among the most prominent tourist sites in Al-Dayer Bani Malik Governorate.
In July 2020, the location of one of the villages of the Al-Hashr Mountains encouraged the Saudi photographer, Osama bin Dhaif Allah Al-Harbi, to visit it and document it with his lens.
Al-Harbi said in an interview with CNN in Arabic: “I was encouraged by the isolation of this village, its adherence to its customs and traditions, in addition to its coexistence and harmony with nature.”
In enchanting videos, the village and its dwellings are shown surrounded by a thick veil of cloud.
The scenes documented by the Saudi aroused the interest of many people on the Internet, thanks to “the presence of houses on the slopes of the mountains with fog,” according to what he said.
The photographer emphasized that the Kingdom’s dazzling natural diversity is the “biggest incentive” for him to continue documenting the country’s various corners.
