The New York State Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) has launched an online platform to streamline the process of obtaining a non-driver ID.
Through this web page, interested individuals can review the requirements and perform a pre-qualification to determine their eligibility to obtain said identification.

They can also check the list of required documents. The main objective, as explained DMV Commissioner Mark JF Schroeder, is that applicants can obtain their identification in a single visit to the offices. “This pre-screening service is part of a broader initiative being implemented at DMV to improve customer service and achieve our ‘one visit and go’ goal,” Schroeder said.
Interested parties must register your data on the site and then access the prequalification tool. Anyone, regardless of age, who has legal status in the country can obtain a non-driver identification card.
