The man received life-saving first aid before being taken to hospital.

– At 11.28pm we received a report that shouts had been heard from the water in the Porsgrunnelva by people who are on land, said watch leader Glenn Espen Hustner in Sør-East 110 central to VG on Sunday evening.
All emergency services rushed to the scene. Divers were also sent from Larvik. Skien and Oslo, said Hustner.
Operations manager Marius Fosvold tells VG that it is a man in his 60s.
– The police were quickly on the scene, located and picked up the man, says Fosvold.
Life-saving first aid was carried out on the spot before the man was transported to the hospital in Telemark by ambulance.
It is currently unclear how the man ended up in the water.
