Reported from GMA Network, a tourist named Cris Cyril Tampus vacationed in Oslob City in Cebu. This city is popular for its beautiful beaches and whale sharks.
He did not waste the opportunity to swim with whale sharks. Cyril heard instructions to always keep his distance from whale sharks.
It’s time to swim with the whale sharks. At a predetermined spot, Cyril and a group of other tourists swam around two whale sharks.
Following the instructor’s direction, Cyril, who was nervous, tried to calm down as he swam while keeping his distance from the whale shark next to him.
In order to appear to be actually swimming with the whale sharks, Cyril was asked to swim below the surface of the water. Cryil also did what was asked by the instructor.

Suddenly, a smaller whale shark appeared from behind Cyril. The whale shark hit Cyril’s rear then gave free riding on Cyril.
This free riding surprised Cyril half to death. He was brought to the surface and showed a mixed expression.
Not only Cyril, the instructor was equally shocked. As a guide who often takes tourists to swim with whale sharks, this was the first time he saw this moment.
“This is the first time I’ve seen a rare gesture from one of the gentle giants in the area,” said instructor Cyril.
The free riding only lasted a few seconds, but the experience will be remembered by Cyril for a lifetime.
