Fisker Ronin: Limited Edition Electric Convertible with Sustainable Materials and Breathtaking Acceleration

The four-door electric Fisker Ronin convertible will be produced in less than a thousand copies and will cost almost 8.5 million crowns. The automaker promises an interior made of sustainable materials, carbon wheels and breathtaking acceleration.

Revealed a few days ago, the Fisker Ronin, whose name the automaker writes as “Rōnin”, has been shown to the world in several more photos. We can also see the interior better, which should have only one 17.1″ display in the middle of the dashboard, otherwise richly illuminated. According to the press release, the display will act as an instrument panel in front of the driver; the interior image suggests a display in the steering wheel, but that’s probably where the airbag will have to be in the production car.

Fisker is still stingy for proper, detailed photos of the interior, but the rear bench looks relatively spacious for the fact that there is a convertible in front of us. The illustration of the car with the doors open nevertheless shows significant technical details, namely the massive reinforcements in the threshold area. These are needed for the best possible strength of the body, if the space after opening both pairs of doors is this large.

The Ronin has four doors but only two handles. The front hinged door is opened by touching the handle, then the handle extends and allows opening of the rear, in the opposite direction. All doors can be opened and the roof can be folded or extended via a smartphone application. This one, made of carbon, leaves a little space for luggage when folded in the back of the car. Additional cargo can be placed under the front hood.

Interior according to the car manufacturer “sets new standards for sustainable luxury and uses innovative recycled and sustainable materials to make ronin the world’s most sustainable supersport”. It is not yet known what specific materials will be involved.

We already know that Fisker aims for a range of 600 miles (965 km) on a single charge with the Ronin and that the car should have almost a thousand horsepower. Acceleration to 60 mph (97 km/h) should be done in two seconds and the top speed should be 275 km/h.

It’s also worth noting that the car’s 23″ wheels will be carbon and that the car’s name, Ronin, is inspired by John Frankenheimer’s 1998 film of the same name. The film is certainly not unknown to fans of fast cars – the final car chase in it appears on just about every best car chase list on the internet at the top of all time.

Finally, Fisker makes only 999 pieces ronin at a price of 385 thousand dollars (8.47 million crowns) for one. Reservations against a deposit of $2,000 (44,000 crowns) can be made now, and customers will probably receive their cars in the second half of 2025.
