A three-kilometer-long lavender garden invites you to take a relaxing stroll. In Germany there are many alternatives for plant labyrinths.

Find your own center at a flower farm in Michigan. The owners of the farm have not arranged their lavender plants in an accurate row, but in an intricate labyrinth pattern that allows guests to stroll in a very sensual and soothing manner. If the trip to the USA is too far for you, you will also find beautiful plant labyrinths in Germany. You can find out which ones here.

Like the magazine Better Homes & Garden reports, Cherry Point Farm and Market in Oceana County, Michigan, invites flower lovers to take a leisurely stroll through its stunning lavender fields. The family-owned farm emphasizes that the Lavender Trail is not a maze that poses mysteries, but a place to just lose yourself and relax.

And that takes time, as most guests need about an hour for a free walk through the two-mile-long labyrinth of the farm. “There’s a big difference between a maze and a labyrinth,” Barbara Bull, the farm’s owner, explains Better Homes & Garden: “A maze is a puzzle, a form of entertainment, while a maze is a wonderful, thoughtful, meditative walk.”

You can find even more exciting garden topics in the regular newsletter of our partner 24garten.de.

The joy of visitors who have already been there and the curiosity to visit the labyrinth is great among Facebook users:

“This is a beautiful place. The homemade cherry pies are the best around. Also, there is a great winery just a few miles down the road ❤️” “It’s on my bucket list””It’s beyond nice!””I’ve been there. It is wonderful”
