A number of tourists are starting to contact the PrahaIN.cz editorial office. They take pictures, send and inform us about the “interesting things” they noticed during the summer vacation. Abroad, we devoted ourselves to Croatia or Bulgaria in this way.
However, a much higher number of e-mails come from home stays.
In recent weeks, this is mainly the area around Lipno nad Vltavou. We already wrote about local prices once. They say we weren’t thorough enough. At least that’s what Michal Prorok from Mirošovice told us.
He spent the last week of July with his family in Lipno. He promised to inform us regularly about the prices and attractions there. He kept his word to the letter and took about a hundred photos for PrahaIN.cz.
He drew up a twelve-kilometer route through Trojmeží, beautiful nature and clean air, although he said it was cold. What he criticized, on the other hand, were the prices of the meals. More than once it was said that people refused to go to restaurants and consumed their own supplies.

Soup for 185 crowns
The proof is some of the pictures where the restaurant facilities are empty.
The first thing Michal Prorok wanted to inform about is the Molo restaurant. Here, South Bohemian Kulajda costs 185 crowns, baked grayling 670 crowns, beef tenderloin steak 990 crowns and flambéed apricots 230 crowns.
After reading the menu, the family left the famous restaurant and went to its bistro, which is only a few minutes’ walk away. However, there was no tourism there either.
“The prices were definitely to blame, I photographed it several times to be objective. Always in the afternoon,” remarked Michal Prorok.
As the menu proves, gothaj with vegetables and bread costs exactly 180 crowns in this establishment (Molo Bistro), beef tartare costs 290 crowns. They have poultry broth for 120 crowns, cottage cheese dumplings with strawberries for 180 crowns. Artisanal ice cream according to the offer costs 130 crowns.

The quoted family did not eat here. “Finally, we had lunch in Frymburk, where I got a duck leg for 264 crowns and chicken cutlets for children for 80 crowns. These are incomparable amounts. They don’t have normal families in Lipno,” the businessman added to PrahaIN.cz.
As we have already mentioned, his family was accommodated in a nearby boarding house for about a week.
During that time, they traveled a lot, walked and took pictures. “The nature, the people, the approach, everything was good. I praise I can’t price. They are beyond reality. A normal person is not capable of that,” Michal Prorok pointed out.
Lipno is also known for the Treetop Trail and the adjacent children’s park Kingdom of the Forest. And it was to the Forest Kingdom that the family from Mirošovice went. How it looked there, we will publish in the continuation of the material.
