Eisenach-Wartburg district:
E-scooter drivers were stopped twice by police officers on Friday evening because the respective companions were not insured. A 16-year-old from the Werra-Suhl-Tal area and a 41-year-old woman from Eisenach were each forbidden to drive. They vowed to get better and wanted to take care of insurance.
Both are facing charges of violating the Compulsory Insurance Act. (vt)
