Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg remains skeptical that billionaire and high-tech mogul Elon Musk will agree to court him.

Musk wrote on his social platform “X” yesterday, Friday, that he had asked the Italian Prime Minister, Giorga Meloni, and her Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sanguliano, for a historical site for the battle.

“It’s not going to happen in Rome,” Sanguliano said, adding that he had a “long, friendly conversation” with Musk. And there was speculation that two of the richest men in the world would fight like veterans at the Colosseum in Rome.

Musk wrote on his website that Meloni and Sanguliano had agreed on an “epic site,” but did not name it.

But later in the day, Zuckerberg said he would be the one to announce the site.

“If he (Musk) agrees to an actual date, you will hear from me. Please assume there is no agreement on anything he claims,” Zuckerberg wrote.

The possibility of a match appeared for the first time in June. Musk challenged Zuckerberg, who agreed. After the first commotion, silence followed, so that many doubted that the two billionaires would ever meet in the ring.
