Alan Varela could arrive in Porto on Sunday, after saying goodbye to Boca Juniors in the Libertadores Cup and receiving an autographed shirt from his teammates, which left him very moved.
For now, FC Porto’s midfield reinforcement is in Buenos Aires, waiting for the exchange of documents between clubs and the green light from Boca Juniors to travel.
Several companions of the 22-year-old latch left him messages of support and affection. One of them was Guillermo Matías Fernández, midfielder xeneizes best known for Pol Fernández, who said goodbye to Alan Varela on social media:
“You leave as you wanted. Attentive and humble, always listening to improve, that brought you this beautiful gift! I’ve told you before and I’ll say it again… we’re going to miss you so much. Enjoy the new stage, continue to grow and make us happy with your game. I love you brother!”
