Yaoundé: 900 million FCFA from the city hall for three development projects

The works concern the axis linking the Cornier crossroads to the Mobil Essos crossroads in the 5th district, the construction of taxi stands in Ahala II and the supply of asphalt for the treatment of potholes in the capital city.

Soon the end of the ordeal for the populations of Yaoundé 5 and especially the motorists obliged to borrow on a daily basis, the axis connecting the Cornier crossroads to the Mobil Essos crossroads.

Indeed, Luc Messi Atangana, mayor of the city of Yaoundé, has just launched a national invitation to tender for the execution of the rehabilitation works of this section of road of about 1 km. The works planned for a period of 06 months will cost 601,000,000 FCFA to the town hall of the city of Yaoundé.

These are site installation works, cleaning and earthworks. Pavement and shoulder works, sanitation, drainage, miscellaneous developments, in addition to moving the networks.

Ahala II-Barrière

In the same vein, the town hall of the city also intends to inject 245 million FCFA in another project relating to the supply of asphalt for the treatment of potholes in the city of Yaoundé, for an execution period of 06 months. For the construction of taxi stops in the Ahala II district at a place called Barrière, the town hall of the city will inject 55 million FCFA.
