The Bouches-du-Rhône prefecture has triggered the state of “enhanced alert” for the Touloubre Amont sector. For several weeks, the situation of the rivers has been deteriorating and the flows are very low. Huveaune and 17 associated municipalities have already been in a state of “drought crisis”, the level above, for several weeks.
Restrictions for the Huveaune
For individuals, the watering of green spaces is prohibited (except trees, shrubs and vegetable gardens) from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. The washing of vehicles as well as the filling of swimming pools (only the upgrading of swimming pools is possible on stored resources) are prohibited.
For communities, the watering of sports grounds is authorized from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. on stored resources and in a reduced manner.
For industrial (including ICPE), commercial and artisanal activities, withdrawals from local resources will be very tightly regulated.
And for farmers, only the irrigation of agricultural crops by localized and water-saving systems or on stored resources is authorized.

For communities, the watering of sports grounds is authorized in a reduced manner from 7 p.m. to 9 a.m. on stored resources.
For farmers, only the irrigation of agricultural crops by localized systems that save water or on stored resources is authorized.
