A flexible phone, a giant tablet, a premium watch, and now also the most powerful phone in the lineup, all will be unveiled by Xiaomi on Monday, August 14 in China. The Redmi K60 Ultra, which will be released later in our country as the Xiaomi 13T Pro, already has a large photo gallery out there showing the design from all angles. Equipment such as IP68 water resistance, Dimensity 9200+ processor, extreme memory variant or 144Hz OLED display are also confirmed to us.
It looks like Monday, August 14 will be an even bigger day for Xiaomi than we expected. Initially, we thought that only the flexible Mix Fold 3 would be introduced on this day, but yesterday we learned that the giant Pad 6 Max 14 tablet or the Band 8 Pro watch will also premiere on the same day. And to make matters worse, Xiaomi’s most powerful phone in the form of the Redmi K60 Ultra will arrive on Monday.
At the same conference, this mobile will also have its premiere, the design of which the manufacturer has officially revealed to us for the first time thanks to a giant photo gallery. We’re basically looking at the Redmi K60/POCO F5 Pro, but the camera module is much bigger and square. We can notice two large cameras and a tiny sensor next to them, which will probably only be a 2MP macro. It is also confirmed that the main camera will be 50 Mpx, but we are missing the Leica logo. So it is a question whether only the global version of the phone named Xiaomi 13T Pro will have this reservation, or they were mistaken in this rumor. In the photos, we can also find an infrared port or a plastic frame, which unfortunately remains the same as its cheaper siblings, but the IP68 water resistance is pleasing.
The manufacturer once again confirmed the Dimensity 9200+ processor, which achieved 1,774,714 points in the AnTuTu benchmark. A 144Hz OLED display with 1.5K resolution, which means roughly 1220p, is also guaranteed. The best mobile in the series will therefore have a slightly lower resolution than the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro with their 1440p display. To ensure that the performance is not lacking, a version with up to 24 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage will be available. The price of the device has not been leaked yet, but we will be wiser in a few days. Above all, we will be interested in whether the global Xiaomi 13T Pro will really be revealed on September 1, as recently speculated.
