Teal Drones, a division of Red Cat, received funding for the production and supply of unmanned aerial systems Teal 2. The US Air Force became the customer.

What is known

The US Air Force Security Forces are in need of drones. The service stopped at Teal 2 quadrocopters. Their uniqueness lies in the presence of a compact Teledyne FLIR Hadron 640R thermal imager, which allows you to receive high-resolution images.

The US Air Force is ready to invest $2.6 million in the purchase of 172 unmanned aerial vehicles. In addition to the quadrocopters themselves, the agreement with Teal Drones includes staff training and the supply of spare parts.

The industry-leading night vision capabilities offered by the Teal 2 quadcopters will be an important advantage for the US Air Force on night missions. This was stated by CEO Red Cat Jeff Thompson (Jeff Thompson).
