Liverpool have outbid Chelsea London midfielder Moises Caicedo, who is valued at 120 million euros by Brighton. According to journalist Matt Lowe, upon learning of the news, the Blues decided to take revenge on the Scousers by outbidding Romeo Lavia, whom Liverpool have been trying to sign for weeks.
Recall that Caicedo has been Chelsea’s main transfer target all summer to strengthen midfield. Liverpool considered the Ecuadorian too expensive, so they did not make offers, but in recent days everything has changed.
Chelsea and Liverpool will face each other in the first round of the Premier League on Sunday at Stamford Bridge.
