We are a non-profit socio-professional integration and social economy organization that operates the lands and sector of the Cap-Saint-Jacques ecological farm and the lands of the Bois-de-la-Roche agricultural park.
Our main mission is to offer people who are far from the labor market professional and personal learning paths that serve as a springboard to the job market.
Since 1986, we have been located in the magnificent Cap-Saint-Jacques nature park. This incomparable place is located on the shores of Lac des Deux-Montagnes and offers a green setting accessible to all. 35 minutes from downtown Montreal, the park and its farm offer visitors many services and activities throughout the seasons.
Located in the heart of the organic farm site, the Thomas Brunet house is a fully restored heritage home, offering exceptional charm and cachet and an incomparable view of Lac des Deux-Montagnes.
This exceptional place offers 4 rooms that can each accommodate from 20 to 60 people as well as an outdoor site allowing the installation of a marquee for events of 100 people or more. Profile of the position:
The Event – Sales – Marketing Coordinator is responsible for:
The setting up of services related to sales activities, animation, rental of rooms/grounds in an event context and a catering service.
He ensures and supervises operations and human resources under his coordination.
He supervises and trains the staff and ensures the application of the rules relating to health and safety at work.
He creates and/or updates training manuals for the staff under his coordination.
He carries out the marketing and canvassing of potential customers for all activities. He plans and distributes external communications to our network with the aim of maximizing the impact of our external brand image, conveying our corporate messages and generating sales.
He makes the financial projections for each of the projects and ensures that the budget established by management is respected.

Requirements:
- DEC in hotel management technique, all relevant experience will be considered
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in event activities and customer service (room and land rentals, entertainment, catering service)
- Good knowledge of MAPAQ standards (manipulator or manager certificate an asset)
- Have significant experience in staff training
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in French and English
- Very good command of the Office suite, social media and various communications
- Hold a driver’s license and have access to a vehicle
Required profile:
- Be available on flexible hours
- Strong organizational qualities: autonomy, priority management, leadership and initiative
- Ability to manage multiple files at once
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
Start of hiring: As soon as possible
Hours week : Between 35 and 37.5 hours
Salary : Between $30.50 and $32.50 depending on experience
Type of position : Contractual 1 year with possibility of extension
