Chelsea published an official statement announcing the absence of the 25-year-old French player from the stadiums for a long period of time, in addition to undergoing a treatment program after the surgery.
According to English press reports, Nkunku will be absent from the London club for a period ranging between 3-4 months.
Nkunku joined the “Blues” from German club Leipzig during the current transfer market, for 60 million euros.
