A collapse accident at a new construction site in Anseong, Gyeonggi Province killed two workers.
At around 11:50 am on the 9th, a collapse accident occurred at a new construction site in Oksan-dong, Anseong-si, Gyeonggi-do, and two Vietnamese national workers were buried and rescued in a state of cardiac arrest, but eventually died.
Four other workers were also injured and treated at a makeshift first aid station.
However, as additional signs of collapse were confirmed at the accident site at 12:55 p.m., only essential personnel and equipment were put into the site, safety evaluations were conducted from time to time, and additional detailed human searches were conducted.
The accident occurred when the floor of the 9th floor collapsed to the 8th floor in a 9-story building, and it was found that the floor collapsed during concrete pouring and workers were crushed.
The police and fire authorities are investigating the exact circumstances, including whether the company was negligent.
