What is known
Wisk Aero was originally a joint venture between Kittyhawk and Boeing. Following the closure of Kittyhawk in the fall of 2022, Boeing became the sole owner of the company.
Now experts are working on a sixth-generation air taxi prototype and are already testing a fifth-generation prototype. It was he who was demonstrated to visitors to the EAA AirVenture exhibition. The sixth prototype will receive certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
During the demonstration Wisk Aero Cora took off, landed and flew in circles. The fifth generation prototype is equipped with propellers mounted on beams. The next prototype will receive front rotary electric motors.
