Donald Trump’s main rival in the 2024 Republican presidential primaries, Ron DeSantis, fired his faltering campaign manager in the face of the former US president, hoping to give her a new impetus.
And DeSantis is the governor of Florida, and conservatives pinned their hopes on him after their party’s disappointment in the legislative elections last year, but he is behind his seventieth opponent by about 40 points in the polls, according to the “Real Clear Politics” center.
During a campaign rally in New Hampshire on Tuesday afternoon, Trump commented sarcastically: “Time to go back to Florida, Ron!”
Trump, the target of several investigations, is strongly involved in the presidential race, portraying himself as a victim of political “persecution” practiced by Democrats, and many supporters are convinced of this proposition.
The Republican billionaire boasts of collecting millions of dollars as a result of the charges against him due to the large media coverage devoted to his cases.
DeSantis’ campaign manager’s firing was announced just days before the first GOP primary debate to be held in Milwaukee on Aug. 23.

And after he was elected governor of Florida for a new term in November 2022, DeSantis hopes to win over the entire United States with his shocking positions on immigration and abortion files.
But the stocky man who rarely smiles is often criticized for his lack of charisma.
