Duisburg. Bouncy castle, show program with animal TV celebrities and a tombola: the animal shelter in Duisburg organizes a big festival at the weekend.
The Tierschutzzentrum Duisburg eV, which operates the Duisburg animal shelter, is organizing a large animal welfare festival at Lehmstrasse 12 next weekend, August 12th and 13th. Visitors can expect prominent guests, animal and musical performances on the stage and lots of information – and stalls.
For the children there will be a large outdoor area with face painting, puck wall shooting and a bouncy castle, inform the operators of the Duisburg animal shelter. There will also be a big raffle.

Border collie Trouble and mistress Melanie Fydrich will be on stage, among others. The duo is known from the RTL program “Top Dog – The best dog in Germany”. The woman from Duisburg and her bitch were able to win the show twice and collect the coveted prize money. Also in the third season it was enough for the duo to win one day. Melanie Fydrich donated the premium of 1000 euros to the animal shelter. Mum and bitch will be on stage on Sunday, August 13 at 3 p.m.
The “Tierphysio Krefeld”, for example, is also on site and will present its forms and methods of treatment at a stand. The team will bring a mobile lounger to the event and offer quick checks for dogs on site. You can also use devices to measure which legs put weight on the dogs. The offer is possible for 25 euros.

Festival at the Animal Shelter Duisburg: the opening hours
The festival is open in the Duisburg animal shelter on Saturday, August 12, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; on Sunday, August 13, the day of the event ends an hour earlier. The operators promise that all proceeds will benefit the residents of the animal shelter.
