Police Officer Attacked by Rampaging Man at Meusch Center in Linz

On Monday afternoon (August 7th) a police officer and an officer had to tame a rampaging man at the Meusch Center in Linz. A 40-year-old man without a permanent address had previously been drunk in a drugstore. When the police arrived at the scene, they found the man in the parking lot.

Linz on the Rhine. After taking personal details and being sent off, the man first went in the direction of the exit, but then turned around and attacked the officers loudly cursing. When trying to fix the man, he tore an officer to the ground and kicked her. He just missed her head. The man was tied up and taken into police custody. (PM)
