The Niagara Panthers Sports and Arts Club family members’ first members meet and greet event and the kickoff of the International Volleyball Tournament on October 28th were well attended.
In a meeting held at Fireman’s Park, Core Group member Sheji Joseph Chakunkal pointed out that the prize money of the international volleyball tournament held in North America with Kerala Thanima will be the biggest attraction. Food and accommodation will be free for the participating team members.
With the equal participation of the United States and Canada, the volleyball tournament with around 30 teams will be a platform for the Malayalis of Niagara to come together, said Ashley J. Mangza, a member of the Core Group and Chief Editor of Jaihind News. It has also been clarified that celebrities will participate in the banquet organized in connection with the tournament.
The Niagara Panthers International Volleyball Tournament was inaugurated by Mega Sponsor Realtor Bineesh Flag Off. Niagara Malayali Association President Manoj Idamana, Core Group Member and MC News Director Dhanesh Chidambaranath and others spoke. Core group members Ebin Peralingal, Lijo Vatapallill, Biju James Kalavara, Anish Kuryan Thekumala and others also led the program.
