Bloomberg News reported that apple company Inc. plans to hold an iPhone 15 launch event in September, possibly on the 12th or 13th of the month.
In the past, Apple usually launched new iPhones on the Tuesday of the second week in September, if the company followed that tradition. Apple fans will see Tim Cook launch the iPhone 15 on September 12.
However, a report from 9To5Mac expects Apple to launch the iPhone 15 on Sept. 13, citing sources. Several major mobile phone companies have told their employees to avoid taking the day off on Sept. 13 “due to the big smartphone announcements that will be made on that date.”
In addition, Apple is expected to open pre-orders on September 15 and start selling on September 22.
Experts predict that the iPhone 15 will come with a USB-C charging port to comply with European Union (EU) regulations.
Apple is expected to launch four iPhone 15 series: iPhone 15, iPhone 15 Plus, iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will start at the same prices as the iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus, at $799 and $899, respectively.
However, Apple will raise the starting prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max higher than the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max, to $1,099 and $1,199, respectively.
