Inspired by the vibrant blue of the Sardinian sea and sky, Lamborghini presents the “Unica Opera” Huracán Sterrato: a one-off work of art in unique crystal effect lacquer created by Lamborghini Ad Personam Bespoke Department. Unveiled to Lamborghini guests at the 60th Anniversary VIP Dinner event in Porto Cervo, where the Lamborghini Lounge returns this summer, this Huracán Sterrato celebrates Lamborghini’s 60th anniversary and decades of unique color palette and exceptional expertise in paintwork.
The Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica exudes the unique, gutsy character of a supercar and perfectly tackles the paved and unpaved roads of the Costa Smeralda, while its distinctive hand-painted exterior draws inspiration from Sardinia’s ocean-blue landscapes and rich colors . A three-color hand-painting process creates a frozen liquid-like crystal effect: Blu Amnis is used as the first solid paint color, then hand-etched with a second Blu Grifo paint and a third color, Blu Fedra, a process that takes more than 370 Hour.
Stephan Winkelmann, Chairman and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini, said, “The Huracán Sterrato was born to challenge expectations and deliver a hypercar that went beyond tradition. The one-off Huracán Sterrato Opera Unica takes it to another level, and in the Lamborghini tradition, evokes attention, and raises the question of an art form.”
“Lamborghini has always been moved by the beauty and colors of Sardinia, and this is the perfect opportunity to try a new paint process, explore the possibilities of personalization with our Ad Personam, and present our clients with a Show this special Sterrato to your guests.”
The ‘Opera Unica’ exterior features matte black paint on the roof, sills and headlight housings, front and rear splitters and fenders. Its muscular, wide wheel arch guards are also painted matte black, setting off the Morus 19-inch matte black wheels. Inside, the Opera Unica is as unique as it is on the outside: sports seats, door panels and consoles are trimmed in exposed-grain carbon fiber with Blu Delphinus leather upholstery, a fascia in tone-on-tone special-coloured Alcantara, and a combination of the two materials. steering wheel.
Lighter shades of Celeste Phoebe leather are used to complement the stitching, piping and embroidery, including the Lamborghini logo, reminiscent of the blue and marine lifestyle vibes of the exterior. The seat panel graphics are laser-coloured in silver and even the cover for the engine start-stop button on the center console is finished in a crystal effect in the exterior paint colour. Like all Huracán Sterratos to be produced, the interior bears a special “Opera Unica Porto Cervo 2023” nameplate and is one of 1,499 units in the limited series.
