The updated rosters of Cloud9 and Natus Vincere took eighth and ninth places, respectively, in the ranking of the best CS:GO teams in the world according to the HLTV.org portal. Heroic and Team Vitality remained the leaders of the list.
FaZe Clan lost two positions and ended up in fifth place, followed by Astralis, which outperformed four competitors. Ninjas in Pajamas, Team Liquid, Apeks dropped four points each and left the top 10, while Virtus.pro stopped outside the top 15.
On August 6, IEM Cologne 2023 ended in Germany with a prize pool of one million dollars. G2 Esports became the champion of the competition, beating ENCE in the final with a score of 3:1. The teams finished third and fourth respectively in the updated rankings.
