Lucille Lemarié: A Passionate Animal Behaviorist and Canine Educator Advocating Gentle and Natural Education

After a computer engineering school and a degree in biology, Lucille Lemarié, passionate about animal behavior, has just completed training as a behaviorist and canine educator in a school in Rennes. At the age of 28, she launched her company “Cours sur patte” which advocates “a gentle, natural, benevolent education, attentive to the animal and its owner”. It gives advice on the rules of life for the animal (dog, cat, rabbit) and its environment, as well as health and nutrition. A professional behaviorist has good knowledge in animal sciences, ethology, psychology and psychopathology. She can discern disturbances, however slight, in the animal. “I travel and proceed in stages: behavioral assessment always at home, origin of the problem, home education course. I never recommend coercive methods of education”, emphasizes the technician.
