Santos already has a new coach after the dismissal of Paulo Turra. O UOL learned that Peixe closed today the hiring of coach Diego Aguirre, who has been without a club since July, when he was fired from Olímpia, Paraguay.
What happened
The Uruguayan coach will give his first training session at Santos this Tuesday (8).
Aguirre recognizes the delicate moment the club is going throughbut talked to several people in Brazil and decided to accept the offer from Peixe.
The coach intends to create a game model to benefit Soteldo who, after being removed for indiscipline, has an open path to be reinstated in the team.
The coach has 83 games in Serie A of the Brazilian Championship and collects tickets for Internacional, Atlético Mineiro and São Paulo.

As reported by UOL, Diego Aguirre was on a list that also had names like Rogério Ceni and Thiago Carpini, coach finalist of the Campeonato Paulista for Àgua Santa.
Who was also on that list was Mano Menezes. The coach even received a proposal from Santos, but turned it down because he is negotiating with a team from the United Arab Emirates.
