Although the fate of the fight between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg remains unclear, the Tesla CEO has shared some new posts about the proposed fight.
The social media moguls have been pitting each other into an MMA cage match in Las Vegas since June.
In a post on his X platform, formerly known as Twitter, Elon Musk wrote that the proposed cage fight with Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg would be live-streamed on the X social media platform.
“The Musk-Zuckerberg fight will be broadcast live on X, all proceeds will go to veterans charity,” Musk said in a post on X early Sunday morning, without giving any further details.
In another post earlier Sunday, Musk wrote that he’s been “lifting weights all day and getting ready for a fight,” adding that he didn’t have time to work out, so the weights work.
When a user on X asked Musk what the point of fighting was, Musk replied, “It’s a civilized form of war. Men love war.”
The uproar began when Musk said in a June 20 post that he was “ready for a cage match” with Zuckerberg, who trained in jiu-jitsu.
A day later, Zuckerberg, 39, who posted photos of the matches he won on his company’s Instagram platform, asked Musk, 51, to “send a location” for the proposed throw, to which Musk responded with a “Vegas Octagon,” referring to the event center where the martial arts tournaments are held. Mixed (MMA). Then Mask said he would start training if he started fighting in the cage.
