For this reason, the Ministry of Health (Minsa) will hold a children’s party “Vaccination Day” in the district of El Agustino, where, in addition, there will be a children’s show, gifts, painted faces, infallible games and much more.

The day will begin at 09:00 in the communal premises of the Abandonado-El Agustino school, in the first area of 7 de Octubre.

The Minsa continues to intensify vaccination against polio and measles in 12 prioritized regions (Amazonas, Arequipa, Lambayeque, Lima, Loreto, Madre de Dios, Moquegua, Puno, San Martín, Tacna, Tumbes, Ucayali) and the constitutional province of Callao to prevent the outbreak of both diseases.

The executive director of Immunizations of the Minsa, María Elena Martínez, reported that they are in the stage of “Racing of vaccination against polio and measles”, where the brigades will carry out the search for minors who have not been vaccinated through the nominal register.

This list contains the full name of the minor, ID, address and cell phone number of the parent or guardian.

“It is a targeted vaccination, since it is an opportunity for all boys and girls to be protected against these diseases. The brigades will continue to move to close the vaccination gap,” he said.

“We continue to work hard. The Minister of Health, César Vásquez, has asked us to redouble our efforts to be able to bring vaccination closer to the entire Peruvian territory,” said the Minsa official.

Vaccination is carried out in all health establishments in the country, as well as through brigades that go house to house or visit markets, parks, among other strategic places.
