Uzone.id – PT Kurnia Motor as the distributor of the cheapest electric cars in Indonesia has begun to hand over units of its electric cars to consumers.
Kurnia Motor itself, so far has a number of models for its electric cars and interestingly, all of them have super cheap selling prices—even cheaper than Wuling Air ev.

The models that were introduced were the K-Blade Series for Rp. 110 million, the K-Kooper for Rp. 123.8 million and the KX-Upgrade for Rp. 140 million (On The Road).
“So far, around 50 units have been sold. This month there will also be a handover of approximately 10 more cars,” explained General Manager of Kurnia Motors Rivaldi Andrinasyah during the procession of handing over the Kurnia Motor electric car units.
All standard models of Kurnia Motors besides being affordable are also the quickest to deliver to customers because the Lead Acid/SLA battery is quicker to prepare than the Hyper type which carries a Lithium-ion battery.
The manufacturing process for all units using Lithium-ion batteries takes longer because the batteries must be ordered and also cannot be stored for too long, they must be applied directly to car units.
The Lithium-ion battery used by Kurnia Motors allegedly has a preparation process of approximately 40 days.
Moreover, because Kurnia Motors’ unit is CBU, the shipping process is not arbitrary because there are not many ship facilities that accept cargo containing lithium batteries, so that for all lithium batteries it has become commonplace in the electric car industry, the procurement process is indented.
Despite these circumstances, Rivaldi said he would routinely field electric vehicle units which will be planned for the next handover in August.
Consumers also don’t need to worry because Kurnia already has after-sales service, guaranteed spare parts, and 24-hour customer care.
Another interesting offer offered by Kurnia Motors is a 5-year parts warranty, and a 5-year buyback guarantee that allows this car to be sold again at the same price as when it was just purchased.
“Our products meet quality standards measured in terms of dimensions, electric drive motors and batteries,” explained Head Mechanic Kurnia Indra Firmansyah.
