Cade Cunningham, who is among the Team USA training squad, is particularly prominent during the preparation of the United States for this 2023 World Cup. After a season marred by a major injury, the Pistons point guard seems to be returning to his shape peak.
Here is good news for the Pistons! Their 22-year-old point guard, Cade Cunningham, is particularly to his advantage during training sessions with Team USA. The boy is not in the team that will fly to Asia at the end of the month, but he is taking advantage of this training camp to regain full possession of his faculties, and at the same time, to beat the starting team… Admire a little:

Cade Cunningham has only played 12 games this season because of a broken tibia and the boy finally seems to be coming back from this long way of the cross that has been this injury. Steve Kerr even rejoiced after the training session:
“Cade looked in great shape. The injury is clearly behind him. It’s great to see him healthy, and he’s a guy who can really control a game from his playmaking position with his size and physicality, it’s good to see him in such good health”.
A big compliment for Cade who, too, admitted to having had a lot of fun with Team USA:
“I feel very good. I’m glad to be here. Just being in an environment like this, playing at a high level…during the offseason, you could be anywhere playing. So it’s a lot of fun trying to make the most of it with these guys.”
“My leg is no longer a problem for me at the moment. I think that’s the biggest difference, being able to play freely and not think about my body too much.”
Very good news for the Pistons who should find their leader in full possession of his means from the start of the NBA season.
