Super Bowl LVIII: Exciting News for Young NFL Fans on Nickelodeon

The 2023 NFL season is casting its shadow. In a few weeks it will finally start again. The kickoff is at 2.20 a.m. German time on the night of September 7th and 8th.

A much more important date in the NFL will take place on February 11, 2024: Super Bowl 58. Even before the new season starts, a hammer has now been announced – the young fans in particular will like the news.

NFL: Super Bowl hammer announced

In Germany, the NFL is becoming more and more popular every year. In the USA, the sport is also generating enthusiasm among young fans. For this reason, three encounters have already been broadcast by the children’s channel “Nickelodeon”. The game inspired with cool graphics and a program suitable for children.

Now the TV broadcaster and the American professional league have gone one step further: The upcoming Super Bowl should also be a highlight for the young fans. Early wide receiver Nate Burleson, who was under contract for the Vikings, Seahawks and Lions from 2003 to 2013, announced this on “CBS Mornings”. He will again be one of the commentators when the world’s biggest sporting event is broadcast on Nickelodeon.

“Nickelodeon and CBS are teaming up to produce a Super Bowl LVIII slime broadcast specifically for kids and families. Nickelodeon and CBS are part of Paramount Global, so cheers to the family,” Burleson announced.

Also regular season game on Nickelodeon

Another thing that gets people excited about the Super Bowl are the commercials. However, it is not clear whether these will also get a Nickelodeon version. The commercials alone bring in over half a billion dollars in annual revenue for the NFL alone.

In addition to the Super Bowl, a game from the regular season will also be broadcast on the children’s channel. At Christmas, Nickelodeon is showing the Las Vegas Raiders vs. the Kansas City Chiefs game. It will be the NFL’s fourth Nickelodeon game. It all started on January 10, 2021 with the Chicago Bears versus New Orleans Saints.
