Visakhapatnam: Policeman’s death in Andhra Pradesh declared murder. A native of Visakhapatnam Shivajipalam and constable in Andhra Police. The death of Ramesh Kumari (40) was proved to be murder. In the incident, Rameshkumar’s wife B. Sivajyoti, her lover and neighbor Rama Rao and his accomplice Neela were arrested by the police.
Ramesh Kumar, a constable of Visakhapatnam Onetown Police Station, was found dead at his home on Wednesday morning. The police interrogated the wife and family members as the incident was highly suspicious. This is how the murder unfolded.
The police investigation revealed that Shivajyoti had planned the murder so that she could live with her neighbor’s boyfriend. Neighbors Rama Rao and Shivajyoti were close for a long time. When Ramesh Kumar came to know about their secret relationship, he forbade his wife from this relationship. However, Shivajyoti overcame her husband’s objection and continued her relationship with her lover. After realizing this, Ramesh Kumar asked his wife to leave him and their two children and leave the house. After this, Shivjyoti along with her lover prepared a plan to kill her husband.
Shivajyoti gave liquor to Ramesh Kumar who came home after duty on Tuesday night. When her husband fell asleep under the influence of alcohol, the woman called her boyfriend and his companion. Then the trio killed Ramesh Kumar by suffocating him with a pillow. Their attempt was to depict her husband’s natural death after the procedure. However, the police investigation found that the incident was a murder.
