Jakarta –
Suzuki XL7 hybrid is one of the hybrid car options. The price is claimed to be pocket-friendly, but what about the annual tax?
The choice of hybrid cars in Indonesia is increasing with the presence of the Suzuki XL7 hybrid. The Suzuki XL7 hybrid is a hybrid technology car whose price is quite pocket-friendly. The Suzuki XL7 hybrid is offered in four variants with the cheapest price of IDR 283.9 million to the most expensive IDR 304.9 million.
With that price tag, the Suzuki XL7 hybrid is the second cheapest hybrid car after the Ertiga. If the price is pocket-friendly, the annual tax is also taken into consideration. The tax for the Suzuki XL7 hybrid is known to be around IDR 4 million.
For the XL7 Hybrid automatic transmission (AT), the annual tax is charged at IDR 4.326 million per year or if it is accumulated over 5 years and divided per day, the cost is around IDR 11,852 per day. Then for the XL7 Hybrid manual transmission (MT), the annual tax is charged at Rp. 4.187 million per year or if it is accumulated for 5 years and divided per day, the cost is around Rp. 11,471 per day.
In addition, maintenance costs are claimed to be light. Moreover, Suzuki provides free service up to a distance of 50,000 km. Within a period of 5 years or a distance of up to 100,000 km, new service fees will appear when the car has reached 40,000 km and 60,000 to 100,000 km.
The total cost for periodic maintenance of the XL7 hybrid for up to 100,000 km is IDR 6,465,500 or IDR 3,542 per day for automatic transmission (AT). As for the manual transmission (MT), it ranges from IDR 6,587,300 or IDR 3,609 per day. This periodic maintenance includes the replacement of fast moving parts, Ecstar products and services, but does not include the replacement of parts outside the periodic maintenance package.
XL7 hybrid is a Low SUV that uses a K15B engine combined with Smart Hybrid Vehicle by Suzuki (SHVS) technology which is more environmentally friendly and efficient. SHVS includes 2 important components, namely the Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) and Lithium-ion batteries which will help ease the performance of the 1,500 cc engine coded K15B.
These technological devices allow for an auto start-stop engine function that works to minimize fuel use when it is not needed, so that exhaust emissions and fuel consumption can be reduced during travel. The SHVS technology, which is practical and proven to have minimal maintenance costs, doesn’t need to be worried about by its users, because the Lithium-ion battery component has been guaranteed by Suzuki through an official warranty policy for 8 years.
