The smartphone produced by Apple, namely the iPhone 15 series, is expected to arrive this fall or around August to September 2023. This latest series of phones certainly has a higher price and slimmer bezels than the previous series.
Launching GSMArena, demand for the upcoming iPhone 15 series is predicted to be lower than the iPhone 14 line when it was released last year.
This prediction was revealed by supply chain analyst Ming Chi Kuo. In his latest report, he believes immediately that demand for the iPhone 15 is expected to be lower than the iPhone 14.
According to Kuo, unless demand for the iPhone 15 is better than market expectations after its launch, most suppliers will face growth pressure in the second half of this year. However, these predictions are not limited to the iPhone 15 series.
“Delivery estimates for Apple hardware products in the second half of 2023 are also generally weaker than last year,” Kuo said as quoted by GSMArena, Thursday (3/8).
One thing that might turn the tide of predictions is Apple indicating that the demand for the mobile phone market will move positively in the second half of 2023 into next year. “Even though it hasn’t happened so far, it’s still possible,” he said.
