KOMPAS.com – Apart from the Galaxy Z Flip 5, Samsung also inaugurated another newest folding cellphone, the Galaxy Z Fold 5, simultaneously at the end of last July.
Both are equipped with a new “zero gap” hinge that allows the phone to be folded tightly without leaving gaps.
The Samsung Z Fold 5 has also become thinner with a reduced thickness of more than 2 mm compared to the previous Galaxy Z Fold 4, while its weight has also been reduced by 10 grams.

In addition to the hinge, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 hardware is now updated with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip from Qualcomm which is claimed to produce longer battery life because it is more efficient.

The S Pen Fold Edition (Z Fold 5) stylus is now much slimmer than before.
One other change that is perhaps the most interesting is the new S Pen Fold Edition as a companion to the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Like the previous stylus that accompanied the Galaxy Z Fold 4, the S Pen Fold Edition (Z Fold 5) is packaged with another accessory in the form of a case that acts as a storage area.
The difference is that the S Pen Fold Edition (Z Fold 5) is now much slimmer than the previous stylus so that it looks like the S Pen for the Galaxy S series of phones.

The Galaxy Z Fold 5 itself can be ordered in Indonesia via a pre-order session until 17 August 2023. The price tag is IDR 24,999,000 for the 12GB/ 256GB variant, IDR 26,999,000 for 12GB/ 512GB, and IDR 29,999,000 for 12GB/ 1TB.
