It is necessary to expand the list of social guarantees and compensate war veterans, including participants in a special operation in Ukraine, for dental prosthetics. This was reported to URA.RU by the head of the LDPR faction Leonid Slutsky. The relevant draft law has been sent to the government of the Russian Federation.
“The guys defend their Motherland, not sparing their health, not for a moment doubting their actions. The state, in turn, must provide them with a full package of guarantees for the restoration of health, the necessary treatment, and the continuation of a normal, full life. Our servicemen who are on the front line should not worry that they do not have the funds for treatment and prosthetics. They must be sure that the state will support them and they will be able to take care of family chores, raise children, work, and not raise funds for dental prosthetics,” said Leonid Slutsky.
According to him, the rights of combat veterans are now being violated in this regard. “At the moment, compensation for medical prosthetic and orthopedic care is provided, however, dental prosthetics is either not included in these guarantees or is limited by criteria. For example, the provision of such support is possible only for active military personnel or in case of dismissal after 25 years of service or more, and in case of dismissal before this period, only under certain conditions. It is obvious that in this way the rights of combat veterans are violated in terms of providing dentures in the absence of the specified duration of military service,” the leader of the faction noted.
