Musical Education Seminar: Fostering the Development of the Paraguayan Music Industry

For the first time in the country, the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Art of the National University of Asunción (FADA-UNA), with the presence of authorities and artists, carried out the Musical Education Seminar in Paraguay, which developed the first of three days in the auditorium of the academic unit, on the San Lorenzo campus, on August 2, and will last until next Friday, the 4th of the same month.

For the opening of the Musical Education seminar, there was the presence of Prof. Dra. Zully Vera de Molinas, rector of UNA; Prof. Dr. Miguel Torres Ñumbay, vice-rector; Prof. Architect José Insfrán Guerrero, dean of FADA-UNA; the Master Juan Carlos Dos Santos, director of the Music degree and director of the organizing committee; Mrs. Rossana María Barreto, general director of art education of the Ministry of Education and Sciences (MEC) and other authorities.

The seminar, in its first edition, provides for a wide variety of academic activities aimed at musicians and musicians, such as: workshops, dialogue tables, conferences, panels and various artistic moments.

The main objective of this initiative is to create a space where different perspectives on music education can be had. In this sense, this seminar, which brings together outstanding people in their musical fields, aims to open the way to develop the Paraguayan music industry.
