It is consternation this Wednesday morning in the Ngeune Sarr district, located in the north of Senegal, following a traffic accident of a bus, which cost the lives of several passengers and injured.
Indeed, a road accident killed this Wednesday, July 26, twenty-three passengers on a bus in Ngeune Sarr, a locality in the Louga region in the north of the country. According to initial reports, the bus hit a tree, also causing the injury of around 60 people.
After this tragedy, President Macky Sall spoke.
« I express my compassion following the terrible road accident this morning on national road two (RN2) in Ngeune Sarr. I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the 23 deceased and wish a speedy recovery to the injured. I still call for more caution on the road “said President Macky Sall on social media.
For the moment, the cause of the accident is not yet known. And the victims were taken to the Amadou Sakhir Mbaye hospital in Louga by the firefighters.
