In recent years, a number of famous licensed brands and characters have gone to the multiplayer horror Dead by Daylight. For example, we saw content that was inspired by the series Halloween, Left 4 Dead, A Nightmare on Elm Street, Saw, Evil Dead, Stranger Things, Silent Hill, Resident Evil or The Circle, and most recently even Nicolas Cage expanded the game. Now the developers from the Canadian studio Behavior Interactive have confirmed what was already speculated some time ago. Dead by Daylight se will connect with the sci-fi saga Alien and we will see the dreaded intruder.
We have the first teaser and there is no doubt that the xenomorph will be the new killer. But it would be nice if we could see some new characters on the side of the survivors and the environment from the film series. And personally, I think it’s very likely. On other maps, it wouldn’t look good on the intruder. After all, in the video, we seem to be watching the interiors of the ship Nostromo. And at one point Jones the cat probably appears in the scene, so it would be nice if Ellen Ripley or other members of the original crew were involved.
At the same time, Alien could also completely change the style in which the title is usually played in a welcome way. Apparently, no one will be hanged on the hooks. So it would also be possible to refresh the gameplay. After all, it would be a shame not to use such a famous brand and waste its potential with some half-baked DLC.
