It was a party-filled Wednesday evening for FC Copenhagen and Orri Oskarsson. The Icelander was responsible for a hat-trick in the return victory in the second round of the Champions League qualifier against Breidablik.
But it was one particular match in the match that came into focus afterwards. Oskarsson’s father, Oskar Hrafn Thorvaldsson, is the trainer for Breidablik. Afterwards, the son apologized.
– I wouldn’t wish my worst enemy to experience this moment, Thorvaldsson told Viaplay afterwards according to bold.dk.
– Playing against his son and actually wishing he doesn’t do well, but I’m also really proud of him.
Thorvaldsson talks about their conversation after the match.
– He said sorry, dad.
Copenhagen won the meeting with a total of 8-3 over the two games.
